Position
We are looking for a Market Knowledge Associate to further develop the firm’s research and recruiting capabilities. This encompasses gathering business intelligence, supporting various searches for our clients, and maintaining up to date candidate and client records. The Market Knowledge Associate will receive direct mentorship from the firm’s Head of Market Knowledge team, as well as gain significant exposure to senior recruiters with deep sector expertise. They will gain a strong understanding of the executive search industry and will learn about the alternative investment space (including the markets/products that pertain to specific searches). This role comes with excellent growth and development opportunities, as well as the ability to take on additional responsibility as specialized knowledge is gained over time.
Responsibilities
‐ Maintain accurate and up-to-date proprietary database records and market mappings of Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Equity Research, and Investment Banking teams
‐ Be an integral part of supporting the entire search process from origination to close, gaining direct mentorship from both the Market Knowledge team and Senior Search Leads
‐ Source and identify suitable candidates by developing expertise in the financial industry
‐ Prepare high-quality reports for clients
An ideal candidate for the Market Knowledge Associate role is organized, with exceptional data management and research skills, and has high attention to detail. They have the initiative to lead assignments with minimal guidance or supervision. They also have a strong interest in finance. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement. Previous experience in Executive Search, Investment Banking, Investing, Consulting, Business Development, or Data Management is preferred.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The position is for a full-time start in Summer 2023, or Winter 2022 depending on graduation month.
