Chief Pilot

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administers Company aviation program including the supervision of the department, coordination of aircraft utilization, budgeting for the department, operation of Company aircraft, training of personnel and contract staff, evaluation, selection and maintenance of aircraft, equipment and facilities. 
  • Effective performance is required to assure decision-making results in positive impact on the company image and profitability. 
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills required in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Degree in aviation science, business, or related major preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Seven years or more related professional pilot experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to pass the Homeland Security, FBI, and TSA background checks 
  • Must be able to pass a Class 1 or Class 2 FAA Flight medical exam
  • Must have:
  • A Valid driver's license 
  • 3500 Total Logged Flying Hours
  • 1500 Hours in Multiengine Aircraft
  • 500 Hours in Turbine Powered Aircraft
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot License with Airplane Multiengine land Rating
  • FAA issued Turbojet Type Rating
  • Hawker HS125 Type rating preferred
  • This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
