HR Administrative Assistant

Legal Placements, Inc. is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the HR/Recruiting department of a prestigious law firm on a contract basis. The duration of this contract is expected to be 5-6 months at this time. This is a hybrid position, and the Assistant will need to report to the firm’s downtown DC office 3 days a week.

The Assistant will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks and projects, including but not limited to, greeting candidates when they come into the office to interview, giving tours to new hires, assisting in planning staff appreciation week and other firm events, setting up and cleaning up for firm events, coordinating the daily backup secretarial coverage, filing, printing, and scanning documents, and any other administrative tasks as needed.

This is an entry-level position, and candidates should possess strong customer service experience, and solid technical skills. The ideal Assistant will be personable, extremely flexible, and possess a high level of professionalism. At least one year of prior administrative or HR internship experience, and a bachelor’s degree are required for this role.
