Overnight Youth Care Specialist

SCHEDULE: Saturday 2:30am-9:30am, Sunday 2:30am-9:30am, Monday 2:30am-8:30am; plus additional hours for staff meetings and supervision. However, these schedules may be adjusted according to the needs of the program.

WAGE/BENEFITS: $17.50 per hour +$1.00 differential for eligible overnight hours worked AND with potential +$.50 for staff with Bachelor's Degree in: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health, Human Development or a related field. Full time positions are benefit eligible, part time positions may be eligible for pro-rated benefits. The Overnight Youth Care Specialist is responsible for assisting in the coordination of mental health and residential services provided by the treatment team. The position provides quality youth care and close intensive supervision of male adolescent clients in a residential treatment setting during overnight and early morning hours. This position closely monitors the clients and the facility throughout the night and morning hours. In addition, this position prepares meals for the day and assists in maintaining food and household supplies. Position responsibilities also involve record keeping, report writing, and data entry. This position requires active participation as a member of a skills training team.
