Transportation Engineer 3

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a motivated engineer with strong technical, engineering, and interpersonal skills to serve as a Transportation Engineer 3 for a Design/Construction Project Office in Spokane. You will have the responsibility to lead a team in the design and construction inspection of highway projects and perform administration of construction projects. You will manage the scope, schedule, and budget of the design and construction of highway projects and mentor team members, providing guidance to ensure that WSDOT projects meet established standards, policies, and procedures. The top candidate selected for this position must be creative in identifying and solving problems, possess excellent project management skills, and have an aspiration to support and develop their staff to become future leaders of the department.
