The City of Portland and the Bureau of Human Resources is seeking a Human Resources Deputy Director + Equity Liaison (Deputy Director II).
The Deputy Director + Equity Liaison is a member of the Bureau of Human Resources Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer. The position is responsible for leading and directing the Citywide Culture program and directing the Culture Division’s strategic plan. The Deputy Director + Equity Liaison manages a team comprised of the People + Culture Strategist, Data Analyst, Communications Manager, Workforce Recruitment and Training and the HR Systems, Payroll and Business Services Manager, and acts on behalf of the HR Director as their designee for specific responsibilities and acts with the Director’s authority in her absence during designated periods.
