UPS Engineering Co-op

Co-Op (Engineering Major - Senior)

About this role:  
The Co-Op will perform duties and tasks to support full systems life cycle management (e.g. analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) in Power BI stack (DAX & PowerQuery) stack. He/She will perform tasks within planned durations and established deadlines. This position collaborates with teams to ensure effective communication and to support the achievements of objectives. He/She will provide development, maintenance, and support for applications.  
Must be able to work 15 - 20 hours per week while school is in session. Potentially work 40 hours per week during the summer months. Looking for someone to start ASAP!

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in Data Modeling, Power BI, SAS DAX & PowerQuery and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge in basics of database warehousing, modeling, and representation
  • Familiarity with SQL Language and DB2 Data Sharing
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Education:
  • The desired Co-Op will be currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or has graduated from a degreed college/university program within that last 24 months.

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated a degreed college/university program
