Temporary Part-Time Marketing Assistant

Position: Part-time, Paid

Pay: $15/hour Part-time: Flexible hours based on class schedule. Must commit to at least 20 hours/week at Catapult’s office in Henderson, NV
Supervisor: Director of Marketing

Catapult Fundraising, Inc., headquartered in Henderson, NV with offices in Texas, New York and New Jersey, is a fast-growing, national fundraising consulting firm. Key markets include higher education and healthcare non-profit clients.

Catapult is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant. This internship will provide one college student with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working directly in marketing, advertising, and sales.

Catapult’s marketing assistant will gain experience with digital and print marketing, social media marketing, advertising, and sales. The assistant will research, brainstorm, and execute marketing initiatives, working directly with the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

-Assist in the execution of email campaigns
-Assist in updating and adding content to Catapult Fundraising website
-Analyze web and email analytics information for optimizing traffic and sales
-Create content for digital and social platforms
-Assist in development of digital marketing strategy including photo and video
-Assist marketing team with the research and preparation of lead generation lists
-Assist with data entry of sales leads
-Assist in development of case studies that showcase our work
-Research competitor firms and assist in developing a competitive marketing strategy
-Assist in development and distribution of marketing reports

Requirements:

-Superior writing, grammar, proofreading, copyediting and verbal communication skills
-Excellent communication skills and a good telephone demeanor
-Must have outstanding computer skills
-Must be able to work at a fast pace while producing quality work
-Majoring in a field of study such as marketing, public relations, advertising, business, or communications preferred
-Must be able to demonstrate successful completion of college/university sophomore year, junior year, or degree
-Must be able to work independently and have ability to check the accuracy of your work
-Must have high standards for your own work performance
-Present professionally with excellent hygiene and appearance
-Must work at least 20 hours/week.
