Digital Music Files - Video Editor Internship (Spring 2022)
Are you obsessed with the music and entertainment industry? Are you interested in learning more about music media in the digital music space?
The ideal candidate for this internship is organized, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and interested in breaking into the fast-paced start-up world. Knowledge of the music industry, a love of learning, and the ability to meet deadlines are a must. We are a small team of professionals with extensive backgrounds in music, entertainment & technology, and we all fill multifaceted roles.
Who You Are:
- You have a working knowledge of DSP's Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, etc.
- You are skilled with video editing and overall video concepts
- You have great organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
- You have a basic understanding of the ecosystem on various social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to voice your opinion.
What You’ll Do:
- Receive a brief and/or outline of footage or content from the Account Manager
- Assembling all raw footage, and making necessary edits before sending for posting
- Inputting any necessary requests from the Account Manager and or using your knowledge to improve content production quality
- Digitally cutting files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what's usable
- Creating a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) and determining the exact content that will be used if not already given direction to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the post
- Edits daily or every other day basis
- Edit basic Interview/podcast/social media style content to intrigue our audience
- Edit intro and outro to make them aesthetically pleasing for viewership
- Some edits will require 24hr turnaround time which will be mentioned
