The CISR Coordinator is a junior level position at IRI’s Center for Insights in Survey Research (CISR) and provides logistical and administrative support to procure data collection services for quantitative and qualitative research studies across all of IRI’s regions. This role supports the CISR Senior Director with the procurement of data collection vendors. Explicit guidance will be provided for each task.
Position Requirements    
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 1-3 years of experience in an office environment, may be substituted by internships/work study
  • Preferred: Interest in (learning about) public opinion research
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent writing and oral communication and research skills
  • Great attention to detail
Primary Functions & Responsibilities 
  • Meets with regional division representatives to learn about their public opinion research needs and translates these requirements into a statement of work, determining suitable proposal evaluation criteria. 
  • Tracks incoming proposals and customizes Excel-based scorecard for proposal evaluation, and works closely with IRI’s procurement team leading up to a contract.
  • Solicits stakeholder feedback for final evaluation of vendor’s performance to be input into a database.
  • Serves as Point of Contact for IRI’s regional division and Procurement teams.
  • Tracks all CISR procurements and maintains a current overview over the status of each procurement.
  • Provides CISR logistical support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
