Foodservice Intern

This internship will be a full-time, 40 hours per week summer internship responsible for calling on a variety of existing customers with the objective of increasing sales for their district.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement marketing strategies for Jennie-O Turkey Store products.
- Add products into distribution and expand the usage of existing Jennie-O Turkey Store products.
- Receive training on Jennie-O Turkey Store products, selling techniques, route building, and business planning.
- Build a business plan for the territory and report results.
- Work with Jennie-O Turkey Store sales and account management to gain new product placements.
- Impact and contribute meaningful work that will affect the Jennie-O Turkey Store bottom line.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must graduate in August 2022, December 2022, May 2023 and major in Marketing, Professional Selling, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management
- Demonstrated leadership, persuasive, initiative, and communication skills
- Possess a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
- Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of a variety of Jennie-O Turkey Store products which may include, but not limited to: turkey and chicken
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
Location/Hours:
- Willmar, MN Corporate Office
- Position is full time, 40 hours per week beginning late May and ending mid-August
Compensation:
- Competitive wage
