Assistant Brand Management Summer Intern
We’re looking for an Assistant Brand Management Intern to join our Marketing team. This position may be based remotely or at The Scotts Miracle-Gro world headquarters in Marysville, a suburb of Columbus, OH.

Over the course of 12 weeks you will work on meaningful projects and have opportunities to network with and learn from industry leaders. What you’ll do in this role:
An Assistant Brand Management Intern will spend their summer as an integrated part of the Brand teams and will manage 2-3 individual projects. These projects will be strategic, creative, and analytical in nature and will provide critical experience in consumer brand marketing. You will be asked to present your findings halfway through the program and continue to refine your recommendations before a final presentation to senior leadership. In addition to these projects, you will participate in key meetings that occur in the normal course of business and be expected to identify opportunities and solve problems outside the scope of your projects. The goal of this internship is to provide you with a learning experience and empower you to add a unique perspective to help the business teams achieve their strategic goals.
Future career growth includes the potential of joining our team as an Assistant Brand Manager (ABM). As an ABM you would be assigned to work on one of the company’s Brands supporting the business in any number of facets including: cross-functional team leadership, brand positioning, marketing communications strategy, pricing and promotion analysis, and P&L management.
