eCommerce Project Manager

The ideal candidate should have professional experience with modern web eCommerce and Content Management systems. A strong candidate can build partnerships with Hamilton's international stakeholder teams, collaborate with Hamilton's development team, execute on new projects and support existing eCommerce and Content Management systems.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Effectively project manage large and small projects to keep backlog at a minimum.
  • Be the lead for Content Management Systems and eCommerce systems to ensure business unit requests align with corporate strategy.
  • Develop/refine product roadmaps that inform stakeholders and development team of upcoming projects.
  • Partner closely with our agency team on the execution of product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Identify and create enhancements to the Content Management Systems and eCommerce systems to drive business efficiencies and revenue.
  • Level 1 support for Content Management System and eCommerce systems to troubleshoot and resolve website incidents in a timely manner.
  • Keep all web services accounts current and operational.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Can quickly get up to speed with a content management system of 2,000+ pages and an eCommerce system of 3,000+ SKUs.
  • Create strong partnerships with business unit stakeholders, create continuous feedback loops, formulate requirements, execute on new projects and track deliverables.
  • Prioritizing tasks, bugs and projects and maintain enhancement and project budgets.
  • Ability to manage and support multiple Content Management and eCommerce systems while balancing short-term goals and long-term vision.
  • Ability to address problem areas on website that can be handled in-house or assigned to digital agency.
Education and Experience:
  • 3+ years managing large-scale Content Management Systems and eCommerce systems.
  • Must have formal education relating to manufacturing, web development, project management, product management or a relevant focus of study.
  • Experience with PHP, MySQL, Jira, Github, CI/CD techniques, and Single-page Application frameworks.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, especially with creative, marketing, product or other teams.
  • Experience with testing and deploying product or system features and functionalities within a corporate environment.
  • Bonus: Experience with CraftCMS, CraftCommerce, Algolia, Buddy, React, or Svelte.
