TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR I – ENTERPRISE INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION

Position Information
Under general supervision, performs system administration duties involving installation, maintenance and upgrading of operating systems and commercial application software; and performs related work as required.
 
This is an Open Competitive/Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill a current full-time vacancy in the Technology Services Department - Enterprise Infrastructure Division. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.
This is the entry-level class in the Technology System Administrator class series that provides for progression to the next level in the series after twelve months and upon meeting the requirements of the class and recommendation of the appointing authority.
 
This recruitment uses a Training and Experience Exam (T&E). Due at the time of application.

Minimum Qualifications
An associate degree in computer information systems or a closely related field and two years of full-time experience providing support for a complex computer infrastructure system; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer information systems or a closely related field may substitute for the required experience.
 
License Or Certificate
A valid driver’s license is required at the time of appointment.
