Planner II (Long Range Planning Focus)
The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Planner II (Long Range Planning Focus) in the Department of Community Development and Services. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under general supervision, performs professional level long range planning activities, such as developing and implementing land use plans, and ensuring program consistency within City planning strategies; and performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in planning, geography, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, public or business administration, or a closely related field
- Two (2) years of professional level experience in planning
- Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
- Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license as defined by NRS 483

Candidates will be notified of their status in the recruitment process and updates will be provided regarding scheduling examinations and interviews as that information becomes available.
