Procurement Specialist

Overview
We pride ourselves on being the experts in what we do. And, we need individuals who are experienced to be able to handle the more complex spend categories and execute procurement actions that support business operations while adding value to the organization. You’ll develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while creating procurement strategies and monitoring the contract lifecycles. 
 
What You'll Do
•   Focus on Professional Services procurement including maintaining awareness of current and future needs, monitoring service expectations, and reviewing contracts 
•   Develop and execute action plans based on identified sourcing strategy, business needs, and improvements to ensure standards are achieved at a competitive rate with minimal risk
•   Execute negotiation strategies to determine contract terms while ensuring a strong product is provided with optimal savings and minimal risk
•   Conduct research, benchmarking, and cost analysis to remain a subject matter expert in assigned categories and make recommendations to the business
•   Develop supplier relationships including managing performance, driving cost-saving efforts, and ensuring adherence to contract terms and conditions 
•   Maintain knowledge of changing technology, market conditions, and industry trends to identify possible improvements 
 
What it Takes
•   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
•   At least 2 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related work experience
•   Strong organizational and project management skills
•   Ability to communicate and provide exceptional customer service
•   Organizational and project management skills
•   Proficient in Microsoft Office
