MST EA Therapist

Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is a well-researched community-based treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the MST EA (Emerging Adult) therapists provide a variety of services to emerging adults and their social network, including assessment, treatment, clinical interventions and collaboration with the emerging adult, social network, community agency staff, and school officials. Under the direction of the MST EA Program Manager, Therapists work with Emerging Adults (17-26) in their natural environments, including their homes, schools and communities. Other responsibilities include outcome reviews and maintaining concise documentation to treatment, compatible with MST principles and practices. The MST EA Therapist is a community based position, covering Cook County.

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in social services field preferred
  • Experience working with at risk youth
  • Experience in family therapy or working with families preferred
  • A valid driver’s license and ownership of or ready access to an insured vehicle
  • Clear driving record
