It is a very exciting time of growth for our Language Consulting teams, and we are currently hiring multiple language experts for our Localization QA tester role to join our locations in Cupertino, CA and Austin, TX. Quisitive’s language teams provide excellent translations, localization, QA testing and language engineering, and you can be a part of that! What will my role be?
As a Localization QA tester, you will be working in a multi-cultural environment on exciting localization projects. Quisitive is looking for multiple language Localization QA testers who is interested in localization and testing on various devices and platforms. If you are passionate about your language and integrating that with technology – this is a great opportunity for you!

What will I be doing?
  • Localizing, translating, editing, and proofreading
  • Performing manual testing on multiple platforms following detailed instructions that will be provided to you
  • Identifying, filing, and verifying bugs via a bug tracing system to ensure high quality features and products
  • Working with fellow QA testers, project managers and vendor project managers on various projects
  • Participating in meetings regarding new projects and features and language meetings
  • Creating language documents such a glossary, style guide etc.

What’s required?
  • Native level understanding of target language and culture
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, work independently as well as working on a team
  • Cultural Savvy - Understanding of cultural/linguistic nuances and political correctness for respective language/country
  • Tech savvy - Intermediate-level skills using computers, devices, spreadsheets
  • Ability to type in native language with local keyboard
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills
  • A team player who also knows how to work independently
  • Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA 

What would set me apart?  
  • Translation, editing or proofreading experience
  • Experience in testing web-based systems and applications on computers and devices
  • Experience working with test scripts and test cases

Hours:
Austin, Texas - Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM (1 hour unpaid lunch from 12:30PM-1:30PM)
Cupertino, CA - Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM (1 hour unpaid lunch from 12:00PM-1:00PM)
