OLLI Technology Support Assistant (Temporary)
The Office of Information Technology is partnering with the UNLV Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) to provide technology education and support to OLLI members during the Fall 2026 semester.
We are looking for student employees to help intergenerational and multicultural OLLI members learn and use everyday technology. This is a short-term opportunity for students who enjoy technology, troubleshooting, and helping others.
Potential duties may include:
- Answering basic technology questions during OLLI Tech Help sessions
- Helping participants troubleshoot and better understand smartphones, computers, applications, websites, and other technology
- Assisting OIT presenters during hands-on technology workshops
- Helping participants follow along with workshop activities and answering individual questions
- Supporting basic setup and organization of the technology lab
Schedule
This is a temporary position from September through November 2026.
Available recurring shifts are:
- Mondays, 12:45–2:15 p.m. — Tech Help
- Wednesdays, 12:45–2:15 p.m. — Tech Help
- Fridays, 9:00–10:30 a.m. — Technology Workshop Assistant
Students who are available for all 3 shifts will receive priority consideration.
Students must be enrolled in at least 6 units.
