The Office of Information Technology’s Student Workforce Development initiative supports student employees in gaining real-world skills that enhance their career readiness. This position provides hands-on experience in program coordination, communication, and micro-credentialing support.

We are looking for detail-oriented and motivated students who want to build their professional skills while supporting workforce development programs and student engagement efforts. Ideal candidates are curious, reliable, and interested in learning more about how student employment connects to long-term career success.
Potential duties may include:

  • Assisting with the management and tracking of student micro-credentials and certificates
  • Supporting student professional development workshops and training events
  • Helping maintain and update internal student workforce resources (e.g., websites, forms, guides)
  • Creating or editing content (videos, graphics) for workforce development initiatives
  • Conducting research on peer institutions or best practices related to student employment
  • Assisting with survey data collection and student outreach efforts


Work schedules are flexible, and there are opportunities to tailor the responsibilities to the student’s academic and career interests.

We are currently accepting applications from individuals available to work up to 20 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
